Upon my first meeting with Julie over zoom in 2021, I knew this wedding was going to be the wedding of the season! She spoke highly of her soon-to-be husband, Alex, and her dreams of this day. He was "sweet, funny, incredibly smart, and more than [she] could have dream." Seeing their eyes for each other through the day convinced me that they were, and forever will be, enthralled in one another.
JUNE 18TH, 2022
I entered the bridal party suite to bubbling laughter, makeup and glam, and a bride tribe of fun! These girls immediately invited my assistant and me in as a friend, which hints at the kind of sister Julie is to them. It was plain to see that these ladies - Julie's closest friends and family - were there to serve and celebrate her!
A few short hours later, there she was walking towards him. Him beaming at her. Them joining as one. Family and friends encapsulated by the most lovely piano and cello duet in a grandiose cathedral. Hearts beating, stomachs churning, eyes sparkling, and smiles glowing, as Julie and Alex finally shared their first kiss as husband and wife.
The love and laughter clearly did not stop there! From the moment they said "I do", all anxiety vanished. Mr. and Mrs. MacGill had each other. Even in moments surrounded by their crowd of elated friends, they shared moments of aloneness with their eyes and hearts. They were fully present and yet fully connected.
The rest of the evening was spent cherishing and dancing the night away!
To the new Mr. and Mrs. MacGill,
May your marriage be as sweet, shimmering, and laughter filled as your entire wedding day! Thank you for sharing your story with me and allowing me to capture a glimpse of it for you to look back on during the good, bad, and wonderful days to come!
Congratulations!
