A GARDEN WEDDING | KELSEY + RAPHEAL

Sunbeams danced through the leaves as giggles of pure excitement and warm greetings of old friendships entered the Gardens of Matter Park. The trees sighed and whispered to each other as the ceremony began. Soft notes from guitar strings twirled through the air, as one by one, the bridal party stepped closer and closer to the lover's arch. Then the world was hushed—the bride took her first step towards her groom.

Kelsey and Rapheal's wedding day was the perfect mixture of joy and laughter. As I walked with the couple to capture them alone, I was quickly welcomed as one of the party! My heart was instantly filled with happiness for them on their day. What a wonderful gift to now be husband and wife to all they encounter! Together, they make everyone around them instantly feel as old friends.

This loving kindness became a rich, common theme among their family and friends as well. From college roomies and firefighter buddies, to family members from Michigan, each member was filled with love for Kelsey and Rapheal. Throughout the ceremony and reception, there was not a face without a smile or eye without a glimmer of delight!

Their reception was sweetly personal as guests were welcomed to the sweet aroma of barbecue and delicious spices of traditional African cuisine. Tables were constantly filled and emptied again with traveling conversation and dancing under a lovely archway of lights. This was an evening of the greatest hope for their future!
