I met Charly and Drew in college. We all worked at Indiana Wesleyan University's recreation and wellness center. Charly was the the pool manager and I was the marketing manager of the facility. When we'd see each other, we'd chat about school, work, and occasionally... boys. However, there was one specific conversation I remember very well!
We were both working a slow shift and I walked into the pool to pass the time. There was Charly, beaming! I remember asking and she, without hesitation, began telling me about a new hire named Drew. He was tall, sweet, loved the Lord and could make her laugh nonstop! I immediately knew this wasn't just another boy conversation!
I met Drew a few days later and my assumptions were confirmed! He was smiling ear to ear and politely asked a few questions about his lovely manager. A few seconds later, Charly came to the desk and both of them turned bright red! 5ish years later, here we are!
I had the sweetest honor of capturing Charly and Drew with their newborn son, Oakley! What a sweet little fella he is too! Barely making a peep, Oakley slept through most of our session. When he would wake up, he observed and took it all in! When he'd cry, it would only last a few second. Once he'd feel the touch of his daddy's hand in his, he would be more than content! Oakley is a sweetheart of a fella and I'm pleased to announce his arrival!
